Moon exercise: Ways to BALANCE

The Moon:

The moon is waning in its cycle. It is time to RELEASE what you believe is left over from 2020. Prepare the list, and then burn this list.

(WAYS TO BALANCE)

I am currently making my list. I have written down some things that I would like to leave behind.

I will share with you my first two:

Negativity…which I later changed to Negative Energy. It is because I am not a negative person by nature. I am more like a playful child at heart. But, yes I did change this wording to “negative energy”. Yes, we all posses some negative energy for many reasons, past traumas, let downs, heartbreak, disappointment. Sometimes we have been present with family that has abandon us, regret, failure and the list goes on and on.

At times our negative energy comes in the form of Judgement. We make comparisons all the time. We parallel our world with someone else’s world. This is a way us doing our checks and balances. This is how we make sure that we are ‘good’ (I cannot stand the presence of the word ‘good’ in our English language. It is miss used and misunderstood by the person speaking it.) We do this to people and ourselves instantaneously! That a mental boxing match. This equals mental fatigue.

At these times we should be making sure that we are present in that very moment…with ourselves. Stop looking around.

Ridding myself of needless material possessions….

  • clothes
  • shoes
  • toys (I have a 4 yr old)
  • food (condiments mainly, I do not stock pile my freezer, this can be a waste of $ and time)
  • beauty products

The other items on my list are of a more intimate nature. I plan making a video about some these items like the disparaging language I use when I am not thinking clearly and lack of patience with my daughter.

I am writing this to say, once you start making your list you should come to a point that you STOP. Because if you are really making a list of things to release from the past year, this list should take about 2-4 weeks to write. It is my recommendation that YOU dig deep. You are in a process of purging. Make a well thought out list, take some time to think the list through. Then destroy it! Fire is best. Please use safe practice when doing this exercise.

In this process you will not look around so much as YOU will then be focusing on yourself, looking at yourself and your goal to ‘get rid of’ from the past year.

Parallel yourself with your best self. Then it does not matter what is going on around you. It will only matter what is going on with in you.

Your practice is personal…
